In a nutshell: The first cassette tape I ever bought was the Karate Kid soundtrack–funny, right? My first instrument was a saxophone, but I didn’t really play guitar or sing until high school. It was around that time that I began writing songs, and I’ve been tinkering with it ever since. My songs have been described as “rock-art” and “wistful, hopeful, folksy.” What do you think?
These days, I’ve been missing my old band, Left On Vermont, but I’ve stayed busy with some solo shows, including a few with my former bandmate, Erin Weston. Soon to come: A short EP that I hope will come out sometime within the next year or so. I’ll keep you informed!
